Artwork Description:
This painting is a portrayal of the artist in the house of his female friend whom he frequently visited during his life at Datcha in the suburbs of the city of Minsk, Belarus. This was a time of idyllic life and wild parties, complete heaven on Earth with the abundance of fruits and vegetables, bathing in small rivers, and playing any imaginable sports. He lived there in a house owned by his uncle and together with his grandparents. This small study serves as a reminder of that time.
